Lekha, the Singer

Singing is a huge part of my life.  I have some stories to share later about my singing experiences...I enjoy singing various types of music - Western Classical, Pop, Opera, Carnatic (Indian Classical), etc.,

Throughout my journey in the world of singing, I have came across many opportunities that helped me learn, grow, receive accolades and awards.  A few that I've been very happy with are:

• Receiving distinguished gold medals at both ISSMA regionals and state for the last four years.
• Auditioning and being accepted to the highly selective All-state honor choir for two years in middle school.
• Nominated for and performed with the University of Louisville honor choir and cardinal singers.
• Member of our highly selective after school Acappella group, Code Red.
• Being invited to perform songs at Louisville's Geeva Heritage Festival with a band of live musicians from India for the last two years. 

I hope to continue to sing and spread my love of music to everyone around me!
